Globies Sports Bar on Mitchell Street

Located on the famous Mitchell Street, Globies Sports Bar is set in an ideal location to explore all Darwin City has to offer. Even though Globies is one of the smallest sports bars in Darwin, it is without a doubt, the most well known place for both locals and tourists to come to watch sports.

The venue contains a total of 12 television screens purely dedicated to sporting programs with another 3 screens used for gaming that can also be tuned to sporting channels, therefore the only limitations our patrons have of watching numerous sports is the number of eyes that they have. Our AV Matrix Switcher allows patrons in 4 different zones to watch 4 different channels with individual sound in each zone. This allows all lovers of sport to enjoy watching their favourite events at the same time.

Globies hold weekly social pool and darts competitions and also competes in the NT 8 Ball League, Darwin & Districts 8 Ball and Darwin & Districts Dart competitions. Globies also recently had a visit from the most successful 8 Ball Champion Mick Hill who gave exhibitions and coaching over three nights.

The venue is ideal for the ultimate sporting experience with dimmer switch lighting, lots of speakers as well as a HUGE array of sporting paraphernalia ensures our customers can enjoy the full Globies experience in the perfect "spectator" environment.
